Hello again

Over on Craft Swap Forum we have a scrapbook challenge set every month by Lesley and this months challenge is to use 1 photo, plain background paper, rubber stamp and some of your own handwriting so i thought it was about time i added a page to my little doggy scrapbook i am doing for my two Jack Russels so here is page 6.

Hi everyone me again


On a forum i belong to we have got this idea going that each month we send something we have made to whoever is is directly under our name and this month i had to make something for a lovely friend of mine..Angie so i decided to make her a notebook hope she likes it

The left image is the front and the charm you can see is of an elephant i think everybody knows about me and elephants and the image to the right is well obviously the back.

** Sketch **

Thought i would have a go at this weeks Papertake challenge which this week is sketch i'm never very confident when i have to do something i'm told to i much prefer it when i can do my own thing but anyway i tried

I used my Emmy Cuddle Buddly stamp for the main image and did as instructed as to the layout, added a couple of flowers and a birthday banner.

The new theme for this weeks Sunday Stampers challenge has been set and it's Wine, There is also some BLOG CANDY to be won this week so go check it out.

I managed to find a wine bottle and glass stamp so i made a Fathers day card using the stamp as a background, hope that's enough stamping,I printed off several images of the wine bottles and decoupaged them. I did quite enjoy this one Cheer's

I decided to have a go at the Papertake challenge...which this week is Lime & Lilac 2 of my favourite colours and then i thought i could also incorporate the MTTC challenge which this week is dark hair so here we have it my... 2 for 1 challenge card

1. I used to breed and show budgies
2. I was secretary for the caravan & camping club for 7 years

3. I started the parents association at my kids junior school and helped save it from closing


4. I raised money to buy my Daughter a machine so she could stay at home instead of being stuck in a hospital ward and in doing so raised enough money to purchase two other machines and donated them to the hospital to help other families.
5. I keep tropical fish.
6. I hate shopping for shoes and clothes.

Well that was boring wasn't it now all i have to do is find six poor unsuspecting people to tag

** Oriental **

Hi Peeps

For this months tag swap the theme is oriental....now i'm not a fan of oriental but i have given it a go and made 3 hope they are ok.

For this one i used a blossom stamp for the background then stamped and embossed the geisha girl onto red card mounted onto gold mirri card used a coin, brad and some red beads to finish it off.

For my second tag i again used a floral stamp to do the background not sure what kind of flower this is though, i then stamped and embossed a tree onto red card mounted onto mirri card wrapped with with a torn piece of vellum added a white flower with brad.

And for my third tag i used worn lipstick ink smudged all over, used my blossom stamp around the edges and a bird of paradise stamp, then stamped a butterfly onto vellum coloured in with gel pens finished off with a coin.

Now all this talk of the orient and i'm starving hungry and need to order a chinese bang goes the diet

** Birthday **

Hi all

Just made a quick card for a male friend of mine hope he likes it, and as it's the first time i've used this stamp i thought i would use it for the Stamp Something challenge.
The challenge is to use some thing for the first time or use a new technique for the first time etc

I used the stamp from this months Craft Stamper Magazine.
