Wind beneath my Wings

Hi all, i hope your all enjoying the beautiful sunshine, i know i am it somehow makes you feel a whole lot happier although it got a little too warm so i escaped to my craftroom where it's a little cooler.

The card i have for today is for a new challenge over at 

The theme is a song lyrics challenge and the song choice is Bett Midlers

* The Wind Beneath My Wings *

Now i had a bit of a problem with this challenge i have sat for ages trying to think of something to make that will go with some of the words to the song but i think what i have done will be ok, well i hope so anyway lol.

The words i have taken from the song are these

Fly, fly, fly high against the sky,

so high I almost touch the sky.

Thank you, thank you,

thank God for you, the wind beneath my wings

The blue represents the sky, the thank you sentiment and the butterfly the wings.

Morning all

My DT card today is for the new challenge set over at Alphabet Challenges and we are onto the letter H already which for this fortnight is

I have used a Joanna Sheen House Mouse Decoupage i love these cuties, for my flowers i used a Stitchels Stamp cut them out and layered them then used glitter gel pen to give them a bit of sparkle, you can't see it very well but it is there.

Well i hope mr blogger is behaving as i have scheduled my post as i am having a little break away with my family

We have a new challenge blog starting for you today it's called The Happy Scrappers and it belongs to me and my lovely friend Lesley, we both love doing scrapping although i am only a relative beginner we felt that there were not many blogs out there for UK scrappers hence The Happy Scrappers has been born, we would love it if you would pop over and join us.

My second post of the day is this card of a Joanna Sheen Gruffie decoupage i've been sitting cutting decoupage all week as i have been poorly with a terrible cold awwwwww and getting to the craft room was a real effort so i sat on the sofa snipping away but today i managed to drag myself upstairs lol
