This is my last post for 2013 as the craft room is now being used as bedroom for family

I just wanted to say thank you to all those that have supported me throughout 2013 sending such lovely comments and encouragement especially when at times i have been unwell.

* Sparkles of Sadness *

Morning all

A very sad day today for me as if you have been over to the Joanna Sheen Challenge blog you will have seen the announcement that the challenge blog is to end and this is our final challenge.

I have only been on the DT for a short period and have enjoyed every minute of it and prior to that always entered the challenges so when i was told the blog was to end i was really shocked, the challenges have always been so popular and really think Joanna has made a big mistake in closing it as it's a lot of traffic that will be lost.

I would like to say a special thank you to Paula Holifield for taking me onto the team and for doing such a terrific job with the challenge blog.

Here is my last DT card made of course from the New Gruffies & Happy Hoppers CD  it's quite hard to photograph sparkle but i assure you it is there on the backing card, snowflakes and the mistletoe the bunny is holding.

As you know this challenge has been a month long challenge and there is a whopping £30 prize up for grabs for someone to spend at Joanna's online Store

New Challenge Blog + DT CAll

Morning all

I have 3 posts scheduled for today my first is to introduce you to a new challenge blog i have set up which is called

You know how i am a bit of a House Mouse nutter well i thought it would be great to set up a new challenge which just involves Gruffies, Happy Hoppers and of course House Mouse design

The new challenge will be a monthly one starting on the 4th of January 2014 and will be every 1st Saturday of each month, there will hopefully be prizes but for now i have to get a DT together so if you are a House Mouse designs lover like me then please pop over to the blog for more information

Today is the last challenge of 2013 over at

For my DT card i used this cute image from the Holly Pond Hill CD and the Ivy die from Joanna Sheen's Signature dies fitted perfectly with the image along with the poinsettia

My card for today is a change from the usual House Mouse images i have gone for this 1 taken from the Shirley Barber Project book cd, i have decoupaged it added a nice big ribbon and a snowflake with glitter glue on it, the sentiment is from Birds
