I have managed to make a couple of cards today propped up with pillows and a hot water bottle on my shoulder Ahhhhh poor old thing (lol)

This card i have combined 3 challenges in 1 some people may say that's cheating but at the moment with my shoulder being so painful it's the only way i can join in with the challenges so please forgive me, the 3 challenges are Lots to do Challenge which this week is you've been framed,also the Penny Black challenge which is Frame it and also the Sunday Stampers challenge which this week is Blue Eyes.

* Christmas all year round *

Morning everyone

Here i have had a go at the Christmas cards all year round challenge where by each month you make 5 Christmas cards to whatever theme is chosen, this months theme is traditional red & green colours with either a rubon or stamped sentiment, i think joining in with this challenge may help with the rush to make cards at the end of the year so hopefully if i can keep up with the challenge i should have enough cards at the end of the year to make sure i don't miss anyone out, wish me luck (lol).

* Most Haunted *

My daughter was lucky enough to get some free tickets for the Most Haunted live programme being televised in Liverpool last week and as her fiance is a big Liverpool fc fanatic they decided to make a weekend of it so they could go to the show on the Friday and then a tour around Anfield stadium & museum on the Sunday.

Here are a few photos she had taken with some of the presenters after the show.

Helen says if you are a Most Haunted fan then try and get some tickets for the live show it's fantastic, i recorded the programme just incase the camera caught them luckily they did and she was caught twice.

Helen says she was a little dissapointed she never got Yvette fieldings photo & autograph but Yvette went straight off after the show as she was not feeling well, not surprised really as she only had a hysterectomy 6 weeks ago.

From top to bottom Karl, Kieran, Fred, Lesley and the last one is of Stuart who came out to talk to them whilst queueing before the show.

* SS Green * House Mouse Atc *

Afternoon everyone

A miserable wet & windy day here, hope you are all well.

Here i have combined 2 challenges firstly the Sunday Stampers which this week is to use the colour green and also the House Mouse challenge which is to make an Atc.

I smudged my Atc with peeled paint then stamped my House Mouse image with saddle brown coloured in with water pencils and smudged the edges with the peeled paint ink.

The weather is quite pleasant today, lovely sunshine so i might venture outside.

Here i have managed to fit 3 challenges into 1, firstly the Magnolia challenge which this week is a Thank you sketch, secondly is the Papertake challenge, which this week is to use spots on your project and thirdly is the Cute card challenge, which is to use something you had for Christmas on your card which for me was my lovely Magnolia stamp and the flowers.

*Secret Crafter & Favourite Photo challenge *

Morning everyone

Not so cold this morning but very damp.. so today i stayed in and made a scrapbook page for Hels challenge which this month is to use plain & patterned papers, buttons or charms ect, & to use a favourite photo, i've also used this page for the Secret Crafter challenge which this week is a sketch.

The photo i have used is of my own garden when we gave it a makeover... i wished i had taken more photo's of when we were doing the makeover as it was a real mess when we moved into the house, we had 4 skips of rubbish to remove & it took us about 3 weeks to do, luckily for us our SIL had just been made redundant (not lucky for him ) and he helped us a lot, although i have only 1 aviary now and the garden is a little more mature.. i still love looking at this photo to remember how hard we worked to get it like this.

My goodness it is very cold here this morning -6 and some light snow i know where i shall be staying today, plus it seams i am going down with OH man flu .

Today i have made another ATC for the swap i am involved in and i have also used this one for this weeks Lots To Do challenge which this week is Time hope you like it .

Evening everyone

Here i have made an ATC for this weeks Sunday Stampers challenge which is to use black & gold i stamped the verse and then embossed it with black embossing powder and used gold metalic rub on around the edge, i have also used this ATC for the swap i am involved in which this month is to use Friends, Ribbon and some 3d, the 3d flower is couloured in with gold & green gel pens, hope you like it.

Hi everyone

Hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year, i know i did my scales have told me so i put 5lb on but hey it's only once a year and i will be back on my weight loss programme soon (notice i never said DIET ) anyway on to some sad news a friend of mine recently lost her mother so i have made this card to send to her, there is never a good time to loose anyone and this time of year makes it even harder i know as i lost my mom 11 years ago this year on Christmas day but i try not to let it spoil my Christmas as it was her favourite time of the year, so to anyone who has lost someone at this time of year my love and understanding goes out to you xx

I hope 2009 will be the best year for you all, i know its going to be very hard for some with this credit crunch going on but try to stay positive be happy in whatever you do and lets make it a very crafty year xx
