Z for Zoo Animals

Morning all on this Royal Occasion

I hope the Royal wedding goes smoothly and wish the Royal Couple a very happy life together and all those of you attending street parties i hope you have a great day and the weather is good to you, i shall be watching it on the telly but no street party planned in my area so think i will make a cucumber sandwich and a nice cup of tea for my lunch in honour lol.

Well Friday has rolled around again and it's time for a new letter on the Alphabet Challenge Blog and this week it's Z for Zoo Animals, for my DT card i used my Pickles stamp i've had these stamps for ages and this is the first time i've used them how naughty is that lol, i also used the mask and stamp technique for the first time and quite pleased with the result, coloured with promarkers, hope you like it.

RRC #2 Baby + Blue

Good morning all

Firstly i just want to thank all those who entered the Ruby's Rainbow Challenges 1st challenge your support was very much appreciated and i hope you will continue to join in with our challenges which brings me onto this fortnights challenge which is Baby + Blue 
For my DT card i used a decoupaged image i had from QVC many years ago, the papers are a bargain i got on ebay 99p for 140 sheets and the nappy pin and stork are buttons from my stash hope you like it.

Morning all

It's Friday and going to be another scorcher today i think, it also means it's time for a new letter over at Alphabet Challenge and this week its Y for Yellow, for my DT card i used a favourite Tilda stamp mind you they are all my favourites lol, anyway this 1 i stamped using momento black coloured with promarkers hope you like her think we may all be wanting her ice cream by the end of the day.

Ribbon Storage Bag

Afternoon folks

What another glorious day here a bit too hot for me so i stayed indoors and made this ribbon storage bag, the girls and i were chatting on the forum about how we store our ribbons and yes you've guessed it.... most of us keep it in a box where it gets all tangled up, anyway 1 of the girls gave us a video link of this easy and cheap bag for storing ribbons so i had to have a go and here is mine although i'm not sure if they will stay untangled but we will see.

Ruby's Rainbow C#1 Anything goes + Amber

Hello all

Well today see's the launch of my very own challenge blog called Ruby's Rainbow Challenges (RRC) and the first challenge is to use the theme Anything goes + the colour Amber on your projects a nice easy 1 to start with, you can make anything you like including sewing or knitting it doesn't have to be just papercrafts.
For my Dt work i have used my Cuddly Buddly stamped useing Momento black, coloured with Promarkers, although the DP looks a pinky colour its actually an orange shade, anyways i do hope you like and will join in the fun with us look forward to seeing you there and thank you for all your wonderful support.

Ruby's Rainbow Challenges

What a glorious day were having hope it lasts

Well i got bored during the week as you do lol, so decided to start a new challenge blog....nothing fancy no prizes or winners or top 3s, then i thought nah theres enough out there in blog land......then i thought oh well why not one more can't hurt can it.... so as from Wednesday 13th April Ruby's Rainbow Challenges will launch it will be a 2 part challenge of a theme + a colour you can make anything you like so we don't have to stick to cards, it could be a scrap page, atc, bookmark, candle, anything you like even knitting if it will fit in with the theme and colour.

I do hope you will join me and the team i will be putting out a DT call when the blog gets going, our DT so far are me of course with Lesley from The Messy Crafter & Angel from Angels Sparkly World.

White +1 other colour

Morning all

What a lovely week we have had weather wise.. managed to get loads of veggies planted, which reminds me i must update my garden blog lol.
Well it's Friday again which means a new challenge on Alphabet Challenges we have 2 new peeps joining our merry little Design Team so welcome Janet & who ever the second successful applicant is i look forward to working with you ladies, this weeks letter is W= White + 1 other colour and for my DT card this week i have stamped my favourite Tilda coloured in with pro markers, the DP are from a paper pad swap we did on the Sparkles Forum the butterflies are Cuttlebug and Martha Stewart.

Look what i knitted.

Morning all

I have finally gotten around to photgraphing this bay layette i have knitted, i finished it a few weeks ago but kept forgetting to take a photo, the shawl is 45" x 45" square, it's knitted using Baby DK and is for a family member who's baby is due in August can't wait :o).

The photo's are not very good sorry, the colours are a bit paler than should be as they are a little bit darker lemon than showing.

Whats happened to the sun, it was shining lovely this morning now it's dissapeared and gone cold just had to put the heating on :o(

The card i have made today is an easel card with a Lapashe decoupaged sheet i've made it for this months challenge on the Sparkles Forum which for this month is flowers.

SFCC#3 Ribbons & Gems

Morning everyone happy Aprils fool day hope you've not had too many tricks played on you.

As it's 1st April this means a new challenge has been set on
                          Sparkles Forum Christmas Challenge (SFCC)
 This month the challenge been set by our lovely team mate Doreen she has chosen for you to use Ribbons & Gems and of course we have our monthly sponsor Joanna Sheen offering a £10.00  voucher.
